Azerbaijan’s Oil Pipelines Transport 24.6 Million Tons of Crude in First Eight Months of 2025

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan’s main oil pipelines transported a total of 24,566.5 thousand tons of crude oil in the first eight months of 2025, the State Statistical Committee reported.
The Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) main export pipeline accounted for 18,356.5 thousand tons, representing 74.7 percent of the total volume transported during the period.
Of the oil shipped via the BTC pipeline, 84.3 percent—approximately 15.5 million tons—was produced in Azerbaijan. The remaining 15.7 percent, or around 2.89 million tons, originated from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
