Iran Committed to Promoting Export of Renewable Energy Technologies: FM Araghchi

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has underscored the diplomatic service’s commitment to international marketing and supporting the export of Iranian technological products, particularly in the field of renewable energy.
Araghchi made the remarks on the sidelines of his visit to the specialised exhibition of green technologies and clean energies at the Isfahan International Exhibition Centre. He said the scientific advances achieved in Isfahan Province in renewable energy development and the transition from fossil fuels to clean energy sources are highly encouraging.
The foreign minister noted that renewable energy has become one of the world’s key priorities and most pressing contemporary issues. He said the active presence of Iranian companies in this sector, along with their acquisition and development of advanced technologies, reflects Iran’s strong scientific capacity and competitiveness at the global level.
Araghchi emphasised that supporting knowledge-based companies and facilitating their access to international markets remains a central objective of Iran’s foreign policy and economic diplomacy, especially in strategic sectors such as clean and renewable energy.
He also stressed that optimisation and energy efficiency, along with reducing consumption, constitute serious and effective solutions to addressing current energy and environmental challenges, highlighting the importance of sustainable approaches in national and global energy strategies.
