UAE President Receives Bahrain’s Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, Reaffirms Strong Fraternal Ties

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received Lieutenant General Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council of the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, the two leaders exchanged warm greetings ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, expressing their hopes that the blessed month would bring prosperity and well-being to both nations and their peoples, while contributing to peace and stability across the region and the world.

Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad conveyed to the UAE President the greetings of Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, along with his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE and its people.

President Sheikh Mohamed requested that his greetings and best wishes be conveyed to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, expressing his hopes for further development and growth for Bahrain and its citizens.

Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

The meeting also reviewed the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain and reaffirmed the mutual commitment of both leaderships to further enhance cooperation across all fields.

  • Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior;
  • Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan;
  • Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs;
  • Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Authority for People of Determination;
  • Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs;
  • Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs;
  • Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President;

along with a number of sheikhs and senior officials.

The meeting reflects the strong strategic partnership between the UAE and Bahrain and their shared commitment to advancing cooperation, security, and regional stability.
