Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed Pays Tribute to Heydar Aliyev at Baku’s Alley of Honors

Baku, The Gulf Observer: During his official visit to Azerbaijan, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed visited the Alley of Honors in Baku to pay tribute to Azerbaijan’s National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed laid a wreath at the grave of Heydar Aliyev as a mark of deep respect and honor.

During the visit, he also placed flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva, recognizing her significant contributions to medical science.

The Ethiopian Prime Minister further laid flowers at the graves of distinguished statesman Aziz Aliyev and gifted doctor Tamerlan Aliyev, paying tribute to their services to the nation.

The visit to the Alley of Honors underscored the spirit of mutual respect and the strengthening of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Ethiopia during Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s official engagements in the country.
