Anwar Ibrahim Visits Absolut Bazaar X Festival Gaya Raya, Encourages Moderate Syawal Celebrations

Kuching, The Gulf Observer: Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim visited the Absolut Bazaar X Festival Gaya Raya in Kuching following his official work trip to the city, taking the opportunity to interact with traders and visitors ahead of the upcoming Syawal celebrations.

During the visit, the prime minister met with vendors and members of the public, inquiring about their wellbeing and gathering feedback on product prices and the market response to the items on sale at the festival.

Anwar Ibrahim also shared a message encouraging people to celebrate Syawal with moderation and balance, emphasizing the deeper meaning of the festive occasion as a day of victory marked by gratitude, togetherness, and compassion for others.

He expressed pride in the wide variety of local products and brands showcased at the festival, including clothing, food items, accessories, and various festive treats and souvenirs, which reflect the creativity and dedication of Malaysian entrepreneurs.

The prime minister noted that initiatives such as the bazaar play an important role in supporting the growth of small and medium enterprises while contributing to the country’s economic development.

Anwar Ibrahim further expressed hope that the arrival of Syawal would bring blessings, strengthen the spirit of ukhuwah (brotherhood), and foster greater unity and solidarity among the people.
