President Tokayev Extends Eid Al-Fitr Greetings, Highlights Unity and Progress in Kazakhstan

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has extended heartfelt congratulations to the people of Kazakhstan on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr (Oraza Ait), emphasizing the spiritual significance of the festival and its rare coincidence with the traditional Nauryz celebration this year, according to the Akorda press service.
In his message, the Head of State described Oraza Ait as a sacred occasion for Muslims, symbolizing spiritual purification, enlightenment, compassion, and solidarity. He noted that the holy month of fasting fosters harmony, strengthens faith, and encourages individuals to extend support to those in need.
“By observing the thirty-day fast, believers live in harmony with themselves and the world, strengthen their spirit, and share the joy of life with others,” President Tokayev stated. “These principles reflect the true essence of Islam and affirm the high moral values and humanistic ideals on which our society is built.”
President Tokayev highlighted the unique significance of this year, as Oraza Ait coincides with Nauryz, marking what he described as a new historical stage in Kazakhstan’s development. He underscored that the nation has recently adopted a new Constitution, reflecting the people’s collective choice for a future grounded in justice and progress.
“This act of the people’s will has become a new milestone in the chronicle of our independent state,” he said.
Concluding his message, the President wished all citizens good health, happiness, and prosperity, expressing hope for continued national progress.
“May our Motherland, the Republic of Kazakhstan, flourish! Oraza Ait kabyl bolsyn,” he said.
