Ambassador Albert Khorev extends Eid al-Fitr greetings to people of Pakistan

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Pakistan, Albert Khorev, has extended warm felicitations to the people of Pakistan on the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Fitr, conveying heartfelt wishes for peace, prosperity, and happiness.
In his message, the ambassador greeted the nation with “Assalamu Alaikum” and “Eid Mubarak,” expressing his sincere congratulations to the people of Pakistan and their families on this blessed occasion. He noted that Eid al-Fitr marks the culmination of the holy month of Ramadan, which imparts invaluable lessons of patience, compassion, and self-purification.
Ambassador Khorev highlighted that Eid serves as a reminder of noble values such as kindness, generosity, and hope, which strengthen human bonds and provide courage to overcome challenges. He praised Pakistan as a remarkable country enriched with cultural diversity, resilience, and a strong national spirit.
On the joyous occasion, he expressed his hope that Eid would bring renewed optimism, peace, and prosperity to every household across Pakistan. He reaffirmed that Russia highly values its friendship with Pakistan and remains committed to further enhancing bilateral cooperation based on mutual respect and shared aspirations for progress.
Quoting renowned Pakistani poet Faiz Ahmad Faiz, the ambassador remarked, “The evening of sorrow is long, but it is only an evening after all,” emphasizing the enduring message of hope associated with Eid.
He concluded his message with prayers that the festival would strengthen unity, inspire collective efforts toward a brighter future, and bring joy to all.
