Uzbekistan, Tajikistan Presidents Inaugurate New Tajik Embassy Building in Tashkent

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: In a significant step toward deepening bilateral relations, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan jointly inaugurated the new building of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Tashkent during the official state visit of the Tajik leader.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President Emomali Rahmon formally opened the diplomatic mission by cutting the symbolic ribbon, marking the commencement of operations at the newly constructed complex.

The two leaders toured the modern embassy facility, which comprises administrative offices, a consular section, the ambassador’s residence, as well as residential accommodations for diplomatic staff and their families. The complex reflects the growing scale and depth of diplomatic engagement between the two neighboring countries.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, both Presidents recorded their remarks in the Book of Honored Guests and participated in a tree-planting activity within the embassy grounds, symbolizing enduring friendship and cooperation.

The inauguration of the new embassy building underscores the shared commitment of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan to further strengthen ties based on good neighborliness, strategic partnership, and allied relations, paving the way for enhanced diplomatic, economic, and cultural collaboration.
