Azerbaijan, Iran FMs Discuss Regional Tensions, Urge Diplomatic Efforts

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, and Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, held a telephone conversation on March 30, during which they discussed the evolving regional situation and bilateral relations.

According to official sources, both sides expressed deep concern over the escalating tensions in the region and underscored the urgency of intensifying diplomatic efforts to achieve a swift cessation of ongoing military clashes.

The ministers highlighted the importance of dialogue and constructive engagement in addressing current challenges and preventing further destabilisation.

In addition to regional developments, the two sides also exchanged views on bilateral issues of mutual interest, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining communication and cooperation between their respective countries.
