Emomali Rahmon Commends Shehbaz Sharif’s Mediation Efforts in US–Iran Peace Deal
Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Tajikistan and Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, has sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, praising his role in facilitating the recent peace understanding between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to the Presidential press service, President Rahmon extended sincere congratulations to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his effective mediation efforts in achieving the peace arrangement between Washington and Tehran.
In his message, President Rahmon highly appreciated the Prime Minister’s tireless efforts and strong political will in addressing this sensitive issue. He noted that the agreements reached in this regard hold significant importance for ensuring comprehensive peace in the Middle East, strengthening the international security system, and promoting sustainable socio-economic development at the global level. He added that the outcome provides a solid foundation for new peace-oriented initiatives in the future.
The Tajik leader emphasized that the Republic of Tajikistan, as a peace-loving country committed to resolving all disputes and conflicts through dialogue and negotiations, warmly welcomes this important diplomatic achievement.
Expressing hope for the continued development of constructive cooperation and friendly relations between the two countries, President Rahmon wished Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif good health and continued success. He also extended wishes of peace, stability, prosperity, and well-being to the friendly people of Pakistan.
