UAE, Syrian Presidents Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Developments

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a telephone conversation with Syrian President Ahmed Al Sharaa on Wednesday, during which the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and exchanged views on key regional developments.
According to the UAE, the discussions focused on the fraternal ties between the two countries and explored opportunities to expand cooperation in development, economic, and investment sectors in support of their shared development priorities and the prosperity of their peoples.
The two presidents reaffirmed the importance of enhancing collaboration in areas that contribute to sustainable economic growth and promote mutual interests.
Sheikh Mohamed and President Al Sharaa also reviewed a number of regional issues of mutual concern, with particular focus on the latest developments in the Middle East.
The leaders discussed ongoing efforts aimed at reinforcing regional security, stability, and peace, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation to promote prosperity and safeguard the interests of the peoples of the region.
