Shusha Global Media Forum Participants Visit Newly Developed Garabagh Street

Shusha, The Gulf Observer: Participants of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum toured the newly developed Garabagh Street in Shusha on Saturday, where they were introduced to the city’s ongoing restoration and urban development initiatives.
During the visit, delegates explored 10 multi-purpose buildings constructed by local investors under a public-private partnership project. The newly developed facilities include hotels, apartment hotels, office buildings, and catering establishments designed to support Shusha’s growing tourism and business sectors.
Officials highlighted that special attention had been given to ensuring high construction standards while preserving the city’s distinctive architectural character. The project forms part of Azerbaijan’s broader efforts to restore and develop Shusha as a historic city and cultural capital.
The newly completed buildings further enhance the city’s landscape and reflect the extensive reconstruction and revitalisation work being carried out in Shusha following its restoration.
The 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, held under the theme “The Mission of Media in Promoting Peace: Restoring Truth and Rebuilding Trust,” is expected to bring together nearly 160 media representatives, experts, and officials from 53 countries to discuss the role of media in fostering peace, countering misinformation, and strengthening international cooperation.
