President Tebboune Appoints New Industry Minister, Minister Delegate for Local Authorities

Algiers, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, appointed on Wednesday Farid Kourtel as Minister of Industry and Fouzia Naama as Minister Delegate to the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, in charge of Local Authorities, the Presidency of the Republic announced in a statement.

The announcement was made in a communiqué issued by the Presidency of the Republic, which confirmed the two appointments to the government.

With the decision, Farid Kourtel takes charge of the Industry portfolio, while Fouzia Naama assumes the position of Minister Delegate to the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, with responsibility for Local Authorities.
