Vietnam Expresses Condolences to Algeria Over Deadly Forest Fires

Hanoi, The Gulf Observer: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President Tô Lâm on Sunday conveyed condolences to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune following forest fires in several northeastern provinces of Algeria that have resulted in significant loss of life and property.
Vietnamese Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng also sent a message of condolences to Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb over the devastating fires.
Meanwhile, National Assembly President Trần Thanh Mẫn extended condolences to Azzouz Nasri, President of Algeria’s Council of the Nation (Senate), and Khalida Boufedeche, Speaker of the People’s National Assembly (Lower House).
Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Lê Hoài Trung likewise sent a message of condolences to Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs Ahmed Attaf.
The messages expressed Việtnam’s sympathy and solidarity with the Algerian Government and people following the loss of life and extensive property damage caused by the forest fires.
