Pakistan defeat New Zealand by six wickets 2nd T20I, Tri-Series
Christchurch, The Gulf Observer: Babar Azam played an unbeaten knock of 79 runs as Pakistan defeated New Zealand by six wickets in the second T20I of the ongoing tri-series on Saturday. Earlier, after an opening stand of 36 runs, Pakistan lost their way in chase of 148 after losing the wickets of Mohammad Rizwan and Shan Masood in quick succession. Earlier, Devon Conway and Mark Chapman played knocks of 36 and 32 respectively as New Zealand posted 147/8 in 20 overs against Pakistan in the 2nd game of the ongoing tri-series. Earlier, the 61-run stand between Kane Williamson and Devon Conway came to an end in the 11th over as Mohammad Nawaz dismissed Devon Conway. New Zealand lost opener Finn Allen early after skipper Kane Williamson won the toss and opted to bat against Pakistan in the second T20I of the ongoing tri-series, also featuring Bangladesh.
