Election in Uzbekistan is being held with spirit of solidarity

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: July 9 will be marked as an important date in the history of new Uzbekistan. Today, Uzbekistan citizens will participate in the Early Presidential Election and vote for the future and development of the country.

Voting in 1,209 polling stations for the Presidential Election in Fergana region began with citizens’ activity and high spirits. All precincts opened at 8:00 am to the sound of the National Anthem.

In the 67th polling station in Fergana city, thorough preparations were carried out for this important political process. The Chairman of the Commission, Shakhnoza Sodikova, said that 1,873 people were registered. This polling station has been crowded with voters since morning.

“We veterans are actively participating in the election”, says Rustam Aminov. – I am familiar with the election programs of the presidential candidates. I was the first to use my constitutional right. I think all our compatriots will participate in this political process in an organized manner.

According to the information, more than 2 million 200 thousand citizens are included in the voting list of the polling stations established in the region. 112,952 voters in the region voted early. International observers who have arrived in the region are observing the process at the polling stations.
