Turkmen President arrives in Saudi Arabia
Jeddah, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived on a working visit to Saudi Arabia to participate in the Summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Central Asian countries on July 19.
According to the official Turkmen media, President Berdimuhamedov had a conversation with the representative of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia before the flight; the sides noted the invariably friendly nature of bilateral relations, which are dynamically developing across the whole spectrum.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov was warmly welcomed at the King Abdulaziz International Airport by the official representative of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, the sides welcomed the high level of interstate dialog and emphasized the mutual intention of the two countries to further strengthen their mutually beneficial partnership.
Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome on the sacred land of Saudi Arabia, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan is ready to further promote the expansion of effective cooperation.
On July 19, President Berdimuhamedov will take part in the summit in the format of GCC + Central Asia, where the agenda will include topical issues of interstate cooperation in the interregional dimension.
