Bahrain, Pakistan discuss cooperation in transportation

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Mohammed bin Thamer Al-Kaabi, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, met Asad Mehmood, Pakistan’s Minister of Communications, as part of his official visit to Pakistan.

Waleed Al-Alawi, CEO of Gulf Aiir, Ibtissam Mohammed Al-Shamlan, Assistant Undersecretary for Air Transport and Aviation Safety at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, and Fatima Abulla Al-Dhaen, Chief of Asian and Pacific Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were present.

The two sides reviewed the ongoing cooperation and partnership relations between the two countries. They also discussed ways to enhance bilateral ties in all fields, particularly transportation and logistics services.

Al-Kaabi affirmed the kingdom’s keenness to strengthen cooperation frameworks in the field of transportation and to discuss the exchange of successful experiences and initiatives with various countries, praising Pakistan’s experiences and expertise in this regard.

He stressed the importance of continuing to discuss new opportunities for cooperation, which would consolidate bilateral relations and push them to broader horizons.
