Omani, Turkish FMs discuss Palestine issue

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi held consultations via telephone call with Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye on Monday evening. The two sides discussed the dangerous events in Gaza and the painful humanitarian situation resulting from Israel’s aggressive military operations.

The two ministers also discussed the regional and international efforts to stop the escalation and war to ensure the delivery of humanitarian needs to the population in Gaza.

The two sides stressed the importance of the peace option based on the two-state solution, the justice of international law and legitimacy, and the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
