President Tokayev visits new district in Taldykorgan, Zhetysu region
Astana, The Gulf Observer: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev surveyed a new district under construction in Taldykorgan, Zhetysu region, according to the reports of Akorda.
The President was reported that 41 blocks of flats with the total area of 122,600 square meters are being built in the new district today. 28.3 billion tenge were allocated for this purpose.
According to Mayor of Taldykorgan, 14 blocks (509 flats) with the total area of 44,100 square meters were commissioned in this district last year. 783 flats in 21 more blocks will be commissioned by the end of the year, while construction of six blocks for 218 flats will be completed next year.
2,065 flats with the total area of 155,200 square meters will be commissioned in Taldykorgan till the year end, and 2,375 flats – in 2024.
The municipal administration also plans to develop the right bank of Karatal river.
More than 28,000 people or 14% of the city population will soon move to their new flats.
