Washington, The Gulf Observer: US President Joe Biden has formally communicated his support for the sale of F-16 fighter jets to Türkiye in a letter addressed to key Senate and House lawmakers. The move comes following the Turkish parliament’s resounding ratification of Sweden’s NATO accession protocols.

In the letter, President Biden expressed his appreciation for the Turkish parliament’s decisive approval of Sweden’s NATO membership, signaling a significant step toward reinforcing the NATO alliance.
