Mohammed bin Rashid Visits the 30th Dubai International Boat Show
Dubai, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President graced the 30th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show today, held at Dubai Harbour and organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre. The prestigious event stands as the largest and most established marine lifestyle show in the Middle East, attracting global attention to the vibrant maritime industry.
Speaking on the significance of the occasion, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed remarked, “The evolution of the Dubai International Boat Show over the last three decades mirrors Dubai’s transformative journey as a global maritime and tourism destination and an international hub that connects people, cultures, and industries.” He highlighted the event’s role as a catalyst for new ideas, innovation, and technologies that shape the future of vital sectors, showcasing the UAE’s historical strengths harnessed to create platforms for excellence.
The Dubai International Boat Show, recognized as the Middle East’s premier marine lifestyle showpiece, features over 1,000 brands from 55 countries, drawing attention from the global nautical industry. With more than 200 crafts on display, the five-day event serves as a hub for marine enthusiasts, industry leaders, and innovators.
During his visit, His Highness was briefed on groundbreaking innovations and technologies, advanced vessels, and pioneering products that are transforming the maritime sector. He gained insights into their transformative impact, not only reshaping the industry landscape but also propelling the maritime world towards a more sustainable future.
Accompanying His Highness on the tour were Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and Dubai World Trade Centre Authority; and Saeed Mohammed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, and Senior Advisor to Dubai International Boat Show.
Since its inception in 1992, the Dubai International Boat Show has evolved into one of the world’s most prestigious boat shows, showcasing the craftsmanship of premier boatbuilders, exciting water sports, and the finer aspects of a nautical lifestyle. The 30th edition, taking place from February 28 to March 3, serves as a comprehensive platform for premiering innovations, announcing new launches, and discovering fresh business opportunities with both global leaders and pioneers in the maritime industry.
