‘Birds of Goodness’ Conducts 22nd Humanitarian Aid Airdrop in Northern Gaza
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence has announced the successful execution of the 22nd airdrop of humanitarian and relief aid as part of the ongoing “Birds of Goodness” operation.
This latest mission saw the participation of two C17 aircraft from the UAE Air Force and a C130 aircraft from the Egyptian Air Force. Together, these aircraft facilitated the airdrop operation, which targeted inaccessible and isolated areas in the northern Gaza Strip.
A total of 82 tonnes of essential food and relief supplies were delivered during the airdrop, marking a significant contribution to alleviating the humanitarian crisis in the region. This brings the cumulative aid delivered via airdrops to an impressive 1153 tonnes since the inception of the operation.
The “Birds of Goodness” operation is an integral component of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” a comprehensive initiative aimed at providing crucial support to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Through coordinated efforts and strategic partnerships, this operation continues to demonstrate unwavering solidarity with those affected by ongoing challenges in the region.
