Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Visits Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2024
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, visited the Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2024 event, organized by ADNEC Group in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. The event, held at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, runs until August 23, 2024.
Spread over an impressive area of more than 34,000 square meters, the event features a wide array of activities designed to foster community interaction and promote a healthy, active lifestyle. Group sports and other activities are open to the public, aiming to engage individuals of all fitness levels and integrate sports into daily life, thereby enhancing the quality of life for all participants.
During his visit, Sheikh Nahyan was given a tour of the facilities by Aref Hamad Al Awani, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, who provided detailed insights into the diverse activities and offerings of Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2024.
Sheikh Nahyan lauded the high level of organization and the considerable efforts made to ensure an exceptional experience for all participants. He noted that the Abu Dhabi Summer Sports event epitomizes the values of tolerance and human brotherhood.
Now in its third season, the event has expanded to include new sports activities such as cricket, tennis, and an obstacle course, in addition to the traditional offerings of football, padel, a 1km running track, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, and a fitness area.
Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2024 continues to build on its success, providing a platform for promoting physical fitness and community engagement in the spirit of tolerance and coexistence.
