Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan Reaffirm Commitment to Strengthening Strategic Partnership
Baku, The Gulf Observer: Member of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis Gunay Efendiyeva met with Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva in Astana, where the sides discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.
During the meeting, Gunay Efendiyeva shared her views on the observation of Kazakhstan’s Qurultay elections as part of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic States (TURKPA) observation mission.
The officials noted the steady development of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan under the leadership of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
They emphasized the importance of further expanding bilateral cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian, cultural and other areas of mutual interest.
The meeting also focused on Azerbaijan’s ongoing reconstruction and restoration efforts in the liberated Garabagh region. In this context, Kazakhstan’s support for Azerbaijan’s restoration initiatives was highlighted.
The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual concern and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries.
