Kazakhstan to Host WTT Youth Contender Almaty for Second Time
Almaty, The Gulf Observer: Kazakhstan has once again secured the right to host the WTT Youth Contender Almaty, as announced by the Kazakh National Olympic Committee. The prestigious event will take place from July 27 to 30, 2024, at the ADD Table Tennis Center in Almaty.
This year’s competition will see the participation of 230 young athletes, aged 11 to 19, from 17 countries. Confirmed participants include representatives from Belgium, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the U.S., and others.
The winners of the tournament will earn prize money and ranking points, with this year’s prize fund set at USD 1,000.
The event promises to be a significant gathering of young table tennis talent from around the globe, providing an excellent opportunity for athletes to showcase their skills and compete at an international level.
