Türkiye Condemns Israeli Attacks on Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital in Gaza
Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the recent attacks by the Israeli army on the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital in besieged Gaza. In a statement, the ministry highlighted the egregious nature of the assault, which has drawn widespread international concern.
“The photo in the Palestinian press showing a group of Israeli soldiers in front of the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital in Gaza is further evidence of Israel’s violation of international law and international humanitarian law,” the ministry said.
The Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital is a critical facility, serving as the only center for cancer patients in Gaza. The ministry’s statement emphasized the severe implications of the attack, noting that the hospital’s damage and its use as a military base reflect a broader, systematic policy by Israel aimed at the destruction of the Palestinian people.
Türkiye reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing justice for these acts. “Türkiye will continue to work to ensure that those responsible for these attacks are brought to justice in international courts,” the statement concluded.
This incident has intensified calls for accountability and highlighted the urgent need for international intervention to protect humanitarian institutions and civilians in conflict zones.
