AIOU to hold Int’l symposium on Turkey-South Asia relations.

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) and Istanbul University of Turkey have jointly organized a two-day international symposium on “Turkey-South Asia Relations in Historical Perspective” which will be held on October 25 and 26 at Istanbul University. It is pertinent to mention here both universities signed an MoU in 2021 to initiate different collaborative projects and joint degree programs.
Vice Chancellor, AIOU, Prof. Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum along with his team will participate in this symposium. The speakers of the symposium will determine the ways to make the relations between Turkey and South Asia stronger and more useful. The delegation of AIOU will make a serious effort to further promote educational cooperation with Istanbul University and other universities in Turkey. Director, International Collaboration and Exchange, AIOU, Dr. Zahid Majeed said that with the cooperation of Istanbul University, an international conference on Eastern language and literature in the postmodern era will also be held next year.
