Azerbaijan and UAE Ministers Discuss Strengthening Economic and Investment Cooperation

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, held a high-level meeting with Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi, the United Arab Emirates Minister of Investment, Managing Director, and CEO of Abu Dhabi Development Holding Company, during the Emirati delegation’s official visit to Baku.

In a statement shared on social media platform X, Minister Jabbarov described the meeting as productive, noting that both sides engaged in substantive dialogue on expanding economic ties between the two nations.

“We held productive discussions with Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi, UAE Minister of Investment, Managing Director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Development Holding Company. In our meeting, we explored ways to deepen economic integration, forge new partnership frameworks, and enhance mutual investment flows, while also underscoring the vital role of business-to-business collaboration,” the minister stated.

The talks focused on identifying new opportunities for strategic cooperation, particularly in areas such as infrastructure, energy, technology, and sustainable development. Both parties emphasized the importance of continued dialogue and joint efforts in creating a favorable investment climate and facilitating direct engagement between the private sectors of Azerbaijan and the UAE.

The meeting reflects the growing economic partnership between Baku and Abu Dhabi, with bilateral trade and investment initiatives witnessing steady growth in recent years.
