Azerbaijan, Germany Sign Strategic Partnership Declaration and Establish Joint Business Council
Berlin, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan and Germany on Tuesday signed key bilateral documents aimed at strengthening political, economic, and commercial cooperation, marking a new chapter in relations between the two countries.
A signing ceremony was held in Berlin in the presence of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Friedrich Merz.
During the ceremony, President Ilham Aliyev and Chancellor Friedrich Merz signed the Joint Declaration on a Strategic Agenda for the Bilateral Partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Republic of Germany, reaffirming both countries’ commitment to expanding cooperation across a broad range of sectors.
The two sides also signed the Joint Declaration on the Establishment and Operation of the Azerbaijan-Germany Business Council, creating a new platform to strengthen trade, investment, and business-to-business collaboration between the two countries.
The agreements are expected to further enhance bilateral relations by promoting closer political dialogue, expanding economic partnerships, and encouraging greater cooperation between the public and private sectors of Azerbaijan and Germany.
The signing ceremony underscored the shared commitment of both governments to deepening strategic ties and advancing mutually beneficial cooperation in the years ahead.
