Azerbaijan Showcases Defence Capabilities at DSA 2026 in Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan is actively participating in the 19th Defence Services Asia (DSA 2026) exhibition, which has commenced at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Azerbaijani delegation is led by Deputy Minister of Defense Industry Mehman Bakhishov, reflecting the country’s growing engagement in international defence cooperation and industry development.
At the exhibition, Azerbaijan is showcasing 72 defence industry products manufactured by Azersilah Defense Industry Holding CJSC, alongside contributions from domestic companies including USH Group, Synapline, Q-STP, 6L Systems, and RD Smart.
Running until April 23, DSA 2026 is jointly organized by Malaysia’s Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Internal Affairs, bringing together over 600 delegations from 50 countries and approximately 1,400 global defence companies.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, Bakhishov held bilateral meetings with senior defence officials, including Musa Heybet, Deputy Minister of National Defense of Türkiye; Adly bin Zahari, Deputy Minister of Defense of Malaysia; and Aaron Beng, Chief of Defence Force of the Singapore Armed Forces.
During the meetings, the parties commended the current state of bilateral relations and emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation. They also underscored the value of exchanging expertise in the defence industry and discussed a range of issues of mutual interest.
Azerbaijan’s participation highlights its commitment to expanding defence industry partnerships and enhancing international collaboration in the sector.
