Azerbaijan, Türkiye Foreign Ministers Discuss Strategic Cooperation and Regional Security

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation on Saturday with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional developments.
According to the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, the two ministers reviewed issues related to the Azerbaijan–Türkiye alliance, the agenda of strategic cooperation between the two countries, and coordination within international and regional organizations.
The ministers emphasized that the high-level political dialogue and mutual support between the two brotherly nations constitute the cornerstone of bilateral relations. They reaffirmed the importance of maintaining close cooperation across all areas of shared interest to further strengthen the strategic partnership.
The conversation also included an exchange of views on the regional security situation, developments in the post-conflict period, and ongoing efforts aimed at promoting lasting peace and stability in the region.
