Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Russian Presidential Aide Discuss Bilateral Relations and Regional Developments

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with Yuri Ushakov, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation on Foreign Policy, to discuss the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations, as well as regional and international developments of mutual interest.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed key issues on the Azerbaijan–Russia agenda, emphasizing the importance of maintaining political dialogue and cooperation in areas of shared interest. They also exchanged views on regional security, ongoing diplomatic engagements, and other matters affecting the South Caucasus and the broader region.

Foreign Minister Bayramov reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s commitment to constructive dialogue based on mutual respect and the principles of international law, while highlighting the importance of preserving regional stability and promoting practical cooperation.

The discussions also covered preparations for forthcoming bilateral contacts and explored opportunities to further strengthen cooperation through continued diplomatic engagement between Baku and Moscow.

The meeting reflects ongoing diplomatic contacts between Azerbaijan and Russia as both countries continue consultations on bilateral issues and regional developments.
