Diplomats Visit Ganjasar Monastery During Tour of Garabagh and East Zangezur

Aghdara, The Gulf Observer: Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan visited the historic Ganjasar Monastery in the Aghdara district on September 12 as part of their tour of the Garabagh and East Zangezur regions.

During the visit, Sabina Hajiyeva, Head of the State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture, briefed the diplomats on the monastery’s history and cultural significance, as well as the restoration works being carried out in the area.

Following the briefing, the diplomatic representatives toured the Ganjasar Monastery and familiarized themselves with its historical and cultural heritage.
