Foreign Diplomats Visit Khankendi and Shusha to Observe Reconstruction Efforts

Khankendi/Shusha, The Gulf Observer: A high-level delegation of foreign diplomats accredited in Azerbaijan has begun an official visit to the cities of Khankendi and Shusha, according to News Hub Consultants.

The delegation is led by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, underscoring the importance Baku places on showcasing developments in the region.

The diplomats first landed at Fuzuli International Airport, a gateway emblematic of Azerbaijan’s infrastructure investment in the Garabagh region. From there, they traveled to Khankendi, where they are expected to engage directly with students of Garabagh University, a symbol of the city’s educational revival and reintegration.

The visit will continue to the cultural city of Shusha, where the delegation will be briefed on ongoing restoration and development projects. The tour aims to provide the international community with firsthand insights into Azerbaijan’s post-conflict reconstruction efforts and its vision for peace and progress in the region.

This diplomatic mission reflects Azerbaijan’s intention to maintain transparency regarding its regional policies and to build understanding among global partners concerning the dynamics of the Garabagh area.
