Global COVID-19 cases cross 525.89 million

WASHINGTON, TGO: The global COVID-19 case tally reached 525.89 million on Monday, with 6,699,879 deaths recorded to date, according to a Reuters tally on Monday.

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.
