Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Dr. Muhammad Faiz, Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council – OKI Jakarta Province Branch, has praised the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and its leadership for their exemplary efforts in fostering tolerance, coexistence, and peace among all people.

Speaking during a meeting at the headquarters of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Faiz highlighted the significant accomplishments of the Authority in conveying its message of tolerance locally and globally, commending its professionalism and remarkable development.

The meeting, attended by Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat, and Dr. Faiz with his delegation, focused on strengthening ties between the UAE and Indonesia in the areas of religious cooperation and social harmony.

Al Darei underscored the long-standing cooperation between the UAE and Indonesian religious institutions in promoting tolerance and peaceful coexistence. He emphasized the historic and robust relationship between the two countries, which spans various sectors.

The discussion also centered on enhancing future collaboration, fostering increased communication, and intensifying efforts to promote moderate thought, combat discrimination and extremism, and uphold the noble values of Islam.
