Iran and Russia Call for Strengthening Bilateral Relations and Regional Stability

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: In a meeting held in Tehran on Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko emphasized the need to expand bilateral relations and contribute to regional peace and stability.

Foreign Minister Araqchi, while highlighting the growing and constructive relations between Iran and Russia across various fields, underscored Iran’s commitment to identifying new opportunities to further strengthen bilateral ties.

During the meeting, Araqchi also referred to the recent trilateral meeting between the deputy foreign ministers of Iran, Russia, and China in Beijing. He stressed the significance of continuing trilateral consultations on critical international issues to safeguard common interests and uphold the rule of law on the global stage. He also expressed appreciation for Russia and China’s constructive roles in this context.
