Iran, UAE Reaffirm Commitment to Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, Majid Takht-e-Ravanchi, has reaffirmed Tehran’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with Abu Dhabi based on mutual interests, emphasizing that strengthening relations with neighboring countries remains a key priority in Iran’s foreign policy.
Speaking at the Joint Iran-UAE Committee Meeting on Political Consultations, which he co-chaired with UAE Assistant Minister for Political Affairs, Lana Nusseibeh, in Abu Dhabi on Friday, Takht-e-Ravanchi highlighted the significance of continued diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
He stressed the importance of the joint committee as a mechanism for advancing bilateral relations, facilitating coordination, and exchanging views on regional and international developments. He expressed hope that both sides would accelerate the implementation of agreements and explore new areas for collaboration through regular consultations.
During the meeting, Takht-e-Ravanchi and Nusseibeh discussed various aspects of bilateral relations, particularly in political and economic spheres. They also reviewed key regional and international developments, reaffirming their commitment to deepening diplomatic engagement.
The discussions underscored the shared interest of Iran and the UAE in fostering stability and cooperation in the region.
