Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony Held for Muslimah at Kampong Perpindahan Mata-Mata Mosque

Bandar Seri Begawan, The Gulf Observer: A total of 28 Muslimah from Kampong Perpindahan Mata-Mata Mosque were honored in a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony held at the mosque yesterday, with Nuramirah binti Muhamad Juhari gracing the event as the guest of honour.
This marked the first-ever Khatam Al-Quran ceremony organized by the Muslimah of the mosque. In her welcoming remarks, Head of the Muslimah group, Hajah Katalina binti Haji Mohd Said, expressed her appreciation for the growing participation of Muslimah in the mosque’s activities, noting that their increasing numbers reflect positive progress.
“This kind of ceremony will inspire Muslimah to continue their journey of reading Al-Quran with dedication,” she stated.
The event featured a takhtim recitation led by Hajah Kasminah binti Ghulam Mohamad, followed by the khatam prayer recited by Hajah Aida binti Asin. The ceremony was further enlivened by a Dikir Marhaban session led by Hajah Maisalamah binti Haji Mumin and concluded with the reading of Doa Peliharakan Sultan by Nurhafizah binti Haji Ismadi.
Also present at the ceremony were Mosque Imam Abdul Azim bin Haji Ismail, Imam Mohd Hafiz Nur Adib bin Abd Manaf, members of the mosque’s takmir committee, and students from the mosque’s Al-Quran class.
The event highlighted the mosque’s commitment to strengthening religious engagement among Muslimah, encouraging them to deepen their connection with the Quran.
