Kazakhstan Celebrates Success at Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympics

In a thrilling finale to the Winter Youth Olympics, Kazakhstani skiers showcased their prowess in the Cross-Country Skiing 4x5km relay on the event’s last day. The team, consisting of Milana Mamedova, Berik Boranbayev, Violetta Mitropolskaya, and Aubakir Totanov, exhibited a commendable performance, completing the distance in 58:57.4. Their efforts secured a 16th position in the challenging relay.
A historic milestone was achieved when Ilya Mizernykh clinched the first-ever gold for Kazakhstan in the ski jumping event, adding a shining achievement to the nation’s Winter Youth Olympics legacy. The triumphant moment resonated with pride and joy for the Kazakh delegation.
