Kazakhstan’s National University of Arts Signs Cultural Cooperation Agreement with Iran

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: The National University of Arts in Kazakhstan has signed a significant cooperation agreement with Iran, aimed at deepening cultural and artistic ties between the two nations. The memorandum of cooperation was signed by Raushan Nortaza, President of the National University of Arts in Kazakhstan, and Ali Akbar Talebi Matin, the Iranian cultural attaché, at the College of Fine Arts in Tehran on Sunday.

The initiative, titled “Culture, Art, and Civilization of Iran,” marks a pivotal step in fostering cultural relations between Tehran and Astana. Both sides emphasized the importance of this agreement in promoting mutual understanding and collaboration in the fields of culture, arts, and civilization.

In his speech following the signing ceremony, President Nortaza praised Iran’s rich cultural heritage, highlighting its profound civilization, literature, and language. He expressed his optimism that this new partnership would pave the way for enhanced cultural and artistic exchanges between Kazakhstan and Iran.

Ali Akbar Talebi Matin, representing Iran, stressed the importance of the strong cultural cooperation already in place between the Iranian cultural office and Kazakhstan’s National University of Arts. He further reiterated Iran’s commitment to supporting the development of these ties, viewing the agreement as a bridge for future collaborations.

This memorandum is expected to lead to joint cultural projects, artistic exchanges, and academic collaborations, further strengthening the long-standing relationship between Kazakhstan and Iran.
