Leaders of Uzbekistan, US discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda
New York, The Gulf Observer: On September 19, as part of the events of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, a meeting was held between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the United States of America Joseph Biden.
Current issues on the bilateral agenda and regional cooperation were discussed. The US President confirmed his strong support for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the course of ongoing irreversible reforms in New Uzbekistan.
Particular attention was paid to promoting practical cooperation projects with leading American companies and banks.
The results of the bilateral meetings with the business community and the business forum that took place on the eve of the visit of the head of our state to the United States were noted with satisfaction.
Special attention is paid to the continuation of constructive interaction in the field of human rights, gender equality and other areas in the human dimension.
