Malaysia’s Anwar Ibrahim Pays Courtesy Call on Raja of Perlis During Working Visit

Alor Setar, The Gulf Observer: Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim arrived at Sultan Abdul Halim Airport in Alor Setar earlier this afternoon for a working visit to the state of Perlis.
Upon arrival, the Prime Minister proceeded to Kangar for an audience with His Royal Highness the Raja of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail.
During the audience, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim briefed His Majesty on the latest updates regarding economic development plans for Perlis. The discussion also touched on various matters concerning the welfare and prosperity of the people of Perlis, which remain a central focus of the Federal Government.
The Prime Minister expressed his profound appreciation to His Majesty for the gracious audience and conveyed prayers for His Majesty’s continued health and well-being, God willing.
Throughout the day, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to attend several official engagements across the state of Perlis as part of his working visit.
