Malaysia’s Dr. Wan Azizah Urges Youth to Embrace Positivity and Education for Malaysia’s Future

Kuala Lumpur, The Gulf Observer: Bandar Tun Razak MP, Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, has called on Malaysian youth to adopt an open mindset, maintain a positive attitude, and pursue a high level of education to drive positive changes in the nation.
Speaking at the Malaysian Youth Unity Iftar event organized by the Malaysian Youth Council (MBM), she emphasized the importance of courage, intelligence, patriotism, and passion among the younger generation.
“We want to see today’s youth be bolder, smarter, more patriotic, and more passionate compared to us in the past. For a better, more advanced, and prosperous Malaysia in the future,” Dr. Wan Azizah stated.
The event was attended by Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Adam Adli Abd Halim, along with 250 guests, including youth leaders, religious leaders, former youth leaders, students, and MBM’s strategic partners.
MBM Launches Harmony Committee to Promote Unity
During the event, MBM launched the MBM Harmony Committee as part of its proactive efforts to foster unity and harmony among Malaysia’s diverse communities. The committee aims to address sensitive issues related to ethnicity, religion, and race through collaborative programs with the government.
MBM President Mohd Izzat Afifi Abdul Hamid highlighted that the committee would provide a platform for youth representatives from various backgrounds to discuss and resolve unity-related challenges.
“Through this committee, we will implement unity and harmony programmes across Malaysia, involving MBM’s affiliated bodies, especially those based on ethnicity, religion, and race. We aim to resolve sensitive issues and ensure that youth become ambassadors of unity and set the best example in delivering the message of peace to the people of Malaysia,” he stated.
The initiative reflects MBM’s commitment to promoting social cohesion and empowering young people to be role models of unity and harmony in the country.
