Oman and Romania Hold 4th Session of Political Consultations in Bucharest

Bucharest, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Romania convened the 4th session of political consultations in Bucharest on Monday. The Omani delegation was led by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while the Romanian side was headed by Traian Laurențiu Hristea, Secretary of State for Global Affairs and Diplomatic Strategies at Romania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed various aspects of their bilateral relations, focusing on investment, commercial exchange, education, and information technology. They explored opportunities for establishing a direct flight route between Muscat and Bucharest and exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The session was attended by Florin Marius Tacu, Ambassador of the Republic of Romania to Oman, along with other officials from both countries. Additionally, Al Harthy and Dan Dragoș Drăgan, Secretary of State in Romania’s Ministry of Energy, engaged in discussions regarding various facets of bilateral cooperation.

This meeting underscores the commitment of both nations to strengthen their ties and collaborate on initiatives that benefit their respective economies and societies.
