Oman and US Hold 18th Joint Military Committee Meeting in Washington

Washington, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman and the United States have held the 18th meeting of their Joint Military Committee in Washington, focusing on military cooperation and ways to further strengthen coordination between the two countries.
The Omani delegation was headed by Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Zaabi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence, who is currently on an official visit to the United States. The US delegation was led by Michael DeMino, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Middle East Affairs.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed several issues on the agenda and discussed measures to enhance mutual defence coordination and military cooperation.
The meeting was attended by Talal bin Sulaiman Al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the United States, along with a number of senior military officers and officials from both countries.
The discussions underscored the two countries’ continued efforts to strengthen bilateral defence cooperation and coordination.
