Oman, Canada Review Bilateral Ties, Discuss Regional Developments

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Oman and Canada have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across areas of mutual interest during a telephone conversation between Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi and Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand.
According to an official statement, the two ministers reviewed bilateral ties and followed up on the outcomes of the Canadian foreign minister’s recent visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
The discussion focused on building on the understandings reached during the visit to further enhance cooperation, deepen political consultations, and broaden the scope of partnership in sectors of shared interest.
The ministers also exchanged views on regional and international developments, emphasizing the need to intensify political and diplomatic efforts to address emerging challenges.
