Oman participates in preparatory meeting for MC13 of WTO
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman participated in the mini-ministerial preparatory meeting for the 13th Ministerial Conference (MC13) of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), on Monday, via video conferencing.
Oman was represented during the mini-ministerial meeting by Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.
During the meeting, the ministers discussed a range of topics, namely e-commerce and development issues, among other matters.
It is worth noting that the WTO was established in January 1995 and includes 164 member states.
Oman joined the organisation on November 9, 2000.
