Pakistan Will Respond Firmly to Any Threat Against Its Sovereignty: Ishaq Dar

Lahore, The Gulf Observer: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Pakistan is a peace-loving country but will respond decisively to any threat against its sovereignty and national security.

Speaking to the media in Lahore, Dar said Pakistan has emerged as a force for peace on the international stage and that attempts to isolate the country have failed. He remarked that Pakistan’s diplomatic standing has strengthened significantly and that the country is now widely recognized across the world.

He credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their efforts in promoting regional peace, saying their leadership had helped enhance Pakistan’s international reputation. According to Dar, Pakistan’s role in facilitating dialogue and supporting peace initiatives has earned it recognition as a constructive actor in global affairs.

The foreign minister stated that Pakistan had played an important mediatory role in efforts aimed at reducing tensions in the region and emphasized that the country remains committed to promoting peace and stability. He added that Pakistan’s growing diplomatic engagement has brought greater international attention to its contributions toward conflict resolution.

Dar further described Pakistan as a responsible nuclear power and said the government would continue working for regional and global peace while safeguarding the country’s national interests and security.
